Coppleridge is
a family-run country inn &
restaurant situated near Shaftesbury on the beautiful
Dorset/Wiltshire borders in England. The main building
shown below on left is a converted 18th Century farmhouse set in 15 acres of
meadow, woodland and gardens. All guest rooms are in a separate
courtyard (below right) with en-suite bathrooms and
all the usual facilities that our guests would expect. Why not enjoy
a special weekend break with a partner or your family or maybe a whole
group of friends, like our annual Old
School Reunion where people fly in from as far away as Brazil!? How
about joining us for Xmas or New Year? We are famous for
our interesting & extensive menus featuring
local produce, all freshly cooked in our kitchen. |

Within the main
house, there is a warm and welcoming bar (below left)
where we offer traditional beers
and a wide selection of fine wines from around the world. Here you can
also choose from a range of home-cooked bar meals featuring traditional favourites, ethnic
dishes, game, a daily changing fish selection and vegetarian dishes. Our
cosy candlelit à la carte restaurant uses fresh ingredients from local
suppliers to provide a wide variety of dishes to please every taste. We
have an extensive range of fine wines to complement the flavours of the
cuisine.
The Coppleridge is
the perfect place to hold a wedding in our newly converted function &
conference room. We have a license to conduct civil ceremonies and have
plenty of room for the reception as well as providing guest accommodation.
