The Coppleridge inn is a stunning country retreat, set in 15
acres of meadows and woodland, overlooking unbroken views of the Blackmore Vale;
and is a wonderful location for your WEDDING RECEPTION. Our magnificent 18th
century barn has been carefully restored, retaining the beautiful oak beams, to
provide a function room full of atmosphere and character. Outside, the
courtyard, with its ponds and fountains, is a perfect backdrop for photographs
and on
a sunny day an ideal area for pre-reception drinks.

The farm buildings surrounding the courtyard have been converted into ten luxurious and spacious en suite bedrooms and these are available for you and your guests to stay over the period of the wedding celebrations. A special offer is available to all guests staying of £130 for a double room bed and breakfast for two consecutive nights, allowing them to enjoy the delights of Dorset for an extra day.
For the younger members of the party we have a playground to help them through those boring moments and to take the pressure off the parents!!
All in all, the Coppleridge must be one of the finest wedding reception settings in the area.
One of the great advantages of having your wedding reception at the Coppleridge is our flexibility. Rather than offer you a list of fixed menus we would prefer to tailor a menu, hot or cold, to your requirements and budget, always trying to include your personal favourites. We can seat 80 people in the function room for a seated meal or up to 120 for a fork or finger buffet. For larger numbers, up to 400, we can erect a large marquee that covers the pond and lawn outside the barn. We also have our Garden Terrace which can seat 80 for a sit-down meal or is ideal for pre-dinner drinks.

Our wine list
is extensive but once again it is no problem for us to supply any drinks that we
do not normally stock.

We have many local contacts who would be happy to recommend photographers, cake makers, discotheques, car and taxi firms and musicians for your reception. Flexibility and service are our forté, so please let us know any special requirements that you may have and we shall try our utmost to satisfy them.
We hold a licence to carry out Civil Weddings at The Coppleridge. I understand that the present cost of the Registrar is £225. We charge £350 to hire the Barn for a civil ceremony followed by a reception, or £300 if you would like to hold just the reception with us.
